There are some blogs out there (Money Saving Mom, for example) that post their store trip deals almost every week, with a whole table piled high. I’m not going to be one of those blogs, but I thought I’d let my friends (ya know, the only ones who might be reading this) in on one of my deals.
This is from CVS… 6 Covergirl Lipsticks and 2 dishsoaps for $8.63 after tax, PLUS I have a $5.99 ExtraBuck coupon to use next time at CVS. How?…
The Outlast lipsticks were Buy1Get1Free, there were coupons in the paper for B1G1F Covergirl lipsticks (I had 2). All 4 of those for free. (Not all stores allow this, or some will use the coupon for half-price… but CVS allows this. The sale fulfills their part of the bargain, as it would anyway. The coupon fulfills the companies part of the bargain, as it would anyway. Combined, you get free. They do this a lot, so the stores and companies are well aware that people get these deals!)
The lip glosses, actually I should’ve only got 1 of those… they were buy 1 at $5.99 get $5.99 Extra Bucks back… sometimes those are only for 1 deal, sometimes up to 5, and I forgot to check. But, I also had 2 $1 off any CoverGirl coupons that I put to those.
The dish soaps were on sale for 99 cents, I had 50-cent off coupons.
Oh, and I had a $2 off any $10 purcahse at CVS coupon.
